The food here is the real thing. A five-minute stroll along the promenade takes you past beach clubs and into an enchanting little harbour — lined with seafood tavernas that serve whatever came in that morning. The calamari, the grilled fish, the local wine, the salt in the air. You will eat better here than almost anywhere in Greece.
This is not a resort and it is not a destination. It is simply a place where people live well — calmly, fully, without performance.
