After more than ten years living between the Caribbean, Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean, I found the quiet places I loved — but they rarely had the wellness routines and tools that had become part of my everyday life. So wherever I lived, I created what was missing. I wasn’t trying to create a retreat. I was creating home. One home became another, each completely different but connected by the same feeling. Eventually I realized I had created a collection. Aurora.

In the southwest Peloponnese, two minutes from the sea and surrounded by olive groves and quiet beaches, Aurora Messinia is shaped by the abundance that has defined this landscape for thousands of years.

Two seasons

Most Aurora residences welcome shorter stays through the summer and open for monthly stays during the quieter months. A month changes the experience: you stop trying to see everything, discover which beach becomes your beach, learn where to buy the good tomatoes, find the walk you take every morning and begin to settle into a rhythm that feels less like travel and more like life.

For remote workers, people between chapters, anyone looking for a warmer winter or simply a different pace, Aurora is designed to make a longer stay easy. Culebra follows the opposite seasonal rhythm, with longer stays available in September and October.

Wellness without the retreat

Less about doing wellness. More about living well.

Aurora is not a group retreat and there is no programme to follow. Every home is booked privately. Depending on the residence, you may find red and near-infrared light therapy, PEMF, molecular hydrogen, an infrared sauna, cold plunge and space to move.

But Aurora was never built around equipment. It is built around sunlight, water, movement, nourishing food, nature, rest and enough space to notice where you are. The technology is there when you want it; the lifestyle begins the moment you wake up.

Every Aurora residence includes fast Wi-Fi, a proper workspace, a fully equipped kitchen, utilities and the everyday essentials you need to actually live somewhere. No rooms are rented separately and no strangers arrive halfway through your stay.

Before you come, tell us what you want from your time away. Some guests want complete privacy; others want local experiences, practitioners, boat days, hikes, markets or restaurant recommendations. There is no prescribed Aurora experience. The point is having the freedom to create your own.
